Drawing The World

An event full of urban exploration, collaborative drawing and creative activities for all ages as a part of The Big Draw - the world's biggest drawing festival

On 11 October 2015 outside Central Saint Martins on the Kings Cross Granary Square, UAL Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Drawing Professor Stephen Farthing worked with 30 of UAL's postgraduate students from across subject disciplines on producing an epic drawing of the world.  Working in chalk over the square's fountains the drawing worked as a performance directed via mobile phones and even a drone!

Drawing the World is one of five highlight events, and hundreds of activities worldwide taking place as part of the annual Big Draw Festival.  Read more about the programme via the BIG DRAW website.
